Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission (UPESSC) has released the notification for the Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET) 2026. The exam will be conducted on 02, 03, and 04 July 2026. The online application started on 27 March 2026 and the last date to apply is 03 May 2026 (Extended). Payment Mode: Online (Debit Card, Credit Card, Internet Banking, IMPS, Cash Card / Mobile Wallet).
Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree from an NCTE-recognized institution along with a valid teacher training qualification such as BTC, B.El.Ed, or equivalent. Final-year candidates are also eligible. A minimum of 50% marks in graduation or the relevant training program is generally required.
Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree with at least 50% marks (45% in some cases as per rules) from an NCTE-recognized institution along with a valid teacher training qualification such as B.Ed, BTC, B.El.Ed, or equivalent. Final-year candidates are eligible. Candidates with specialized education qualifications from RCI-recognized institutes can also apply.
Selection will be based on a written examination.
