For Class 1-5: Candidates must have passed 10+2 with at least 50% marks, and possess a D.El.Ed. in Special Education (or equivalent) from a recognized institution, along with a valid CRR number from the Rehabilitation Council of India. Alternatively, six months of specialized cross-disability training or passed BSSTET Paper I are acceptable.
For Class 6-8: Candidates must hold a Graduation degree with 50% marks, along with a B.Ed. in Special Education (or equivalent) and a valid CRR number. Alternatives include a Certificate/Diploma in Special Education with B.Ed., six months of cross-disability training, or passed BSSTET Paper I.
