Bihar Swastha Vibhag State Health Society (Bihar SHSB) has released a notification for the recruitment of Community Health Officers (CHO) on a contractual basis under the National Health Mission (NHM). Interested candidates can apply online from 1 November 2024 to 21 November 2024.
The vacancies are distributed category-wise as General: 979, BC: 640, EWS: 245, EBC: 1170, SC: 1243, ST: 55, WBC: 168.
Candidates must have B.Sc (Nursing) / Post Basic B.Sc (Nursing) or GNM with a completed Certificate Course in Community Health (CCH) from a recognized institution. They must also be registered with the Indian Nursing Council or any State Nursing Council.
The selection will be based on shortlisting of applications and interview (if required).
The last date to submit the online application is 21 November 2024.
SC/ST candidates of Bihar have to pay Rs. 250 as application fee.
Candidates must have B.Sc Nursing or Post Basic B.Sc Nursing or GNM along with Certificate Course in Community Health (CCH) from a recognized institution.
The age limit for General (UR/EWS) male candidates is 21 to 42 years. Female candidates have relaxation up to 45 years.
